Hey world, i recently took a trip to the Nations Capital (DC) to burn up some time one Saturday. while I drove the family around this wondrous city, there were many activities going on simultaneously. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. As I started down Constitution Ave toward the U.S. Capital, I ran right into a band of bare bottom bicyclers. Now at first glance I though I was dreaming “butt” I quickly realized that I had in fact seen what I just described. There were some 30-40 nude bikers, mostly men, mooning the entire public with their bare bottoms. Now as appalled as I was to see this display of “cracks-n-backs” I was really taken to see the local police providing an escort for these raw riders. Boy, that sucked! All this occured while I hurried to get past them to save the eyes of my children.
The next day I researched the event and found out that the event was the fourth annual “World Naked Bike Ride”. The event was supposed bring exposure to and end ”indecent exposure to vehicle emissions”. OK, now all that said, it is hard to take these nude nuts serious but their issue is very serious. What are we going to do about the destructive bi-products of fossil fuels. I know there are many other sources of fuel that are available. The problem is that when we talk about using alternative fuel sources we reach into someones pocket……
What do you think can be done? There are many success stories of people and nations relying less on fossil fuels. there are more ways to turn this around and save our planet and it seems that no one is interested. Well, no one with the power to change things. Lets talk about this subject and come up with some solid ideas. Maybe we can share them with our leaders. Enough voices will be heard over nude bike riding. lets get others involved with this blog and come up with some solid remedies before it is too late. I do plan on putting together researched information and pursuing a way to send real alternate methods of fuel to our leaders . What do you think?
